COH - Ghost Hawk Six

My new City of Heroes character, Ghost Hawk Six, Lv. 20 Assault Rifle/Energy Melee Blaster.

He was once known as Black Fox Tango, a member of the super-elite Fox Group special forces team, created by the Malta Group to fight supernatural crime. Fox Group, however, was disbanded over half a year ago and since then its surviving operatives have been chased through the streets of Paragon by a battalion-sized element known as the Fox Hunters. In the search for answers as to why they were being hunted so, the Fox Operatives came upon a chilling discovery: while they thought they were perfectly normal elite soldiers, they were in fact former superheroes subdued and changed by the Malta Group in collaboration with Crey Industries.

Reowned superheroes Alan Marsh, Stormwind Rider, Tempest Blayze, and many others were captured by the Malta, stripped of their superpowers, and experimented on in this fashion, creating the 26 members of Fox Group and various members of the Fox attachment of the Knives of Artemis. After spending months executing strategic strikes on those Malta facilities that trained Fox Hunters and contained important information, Black Fox Tango made the most horrifying discover of all:

They were going to do it again.

At the end of his rope and with no reason left to exist, he successfully detonated a nuclear device in the Malta base where Fox Group was originally created, thus preventing the emergence of a 'new and improved' Fox Group. Of course, in order to ensure that it went off he stayed with it and was taken with the base...

Or so he thought. He awoke strapped to a table in a sterile white laboratory with six shadowy figures standing to the side. It was then that he learned of the secret war within the Malta between the 'Purists' -- those who preserved the original ideal of the Malta Group and knew that metahumans were an essential part of the world as it is today -- and the 'Extremists' -- the Operatives seen on the streets of Paragon who desired little more than to wipe all heroes off the face of the earth forever. The Extremists were in power and had been for years, and the closely-guarded Purists [who generally avoided revealing themselves due to their 'questionable' beliefs] feared that they might bring the entire Malta Group down to its knees at the hands of heroes.

Promoted to the ranks of the prestigious Ghost Hawk sharpshooters, Fox has had his cybernetic claws removed, had new nanites implanted in his body, and has been deployed into the streets of Paragon to assist heroes and cleanse the streets of supernatural crime one bullet at a time.
