The Goons of the Guard: Imperial Guardsmen.
These are the guys that can be sacrificed in a heartbeat to ensure that things keep working. When I say so, they will charge heedlessly into enemy fire in order to keep the shots off my tanks, or tangle enemy units in close combat in order to route a charge or tactical strike.
... Of course, they're a pain in the ass to paint. I try not to spend more than 30 combined minutes on each one. Past these guys, I still have around 60-70 more to paint. o_o
Say, isn't that a Tau in the back there?

they have a very nice paint job though i think they could use a ink wash to shade it a bit more
